Phrase of the Week

Borrowing the idea of showing famous sentences related to education from our mates' blog http://naturblogprimaria.blogspot.com.es/, here we start a weekly entry in our blog in which we'll share special phrases and sayings that English speakers use all the time, but you don't often see in English course books or other study material.

This week we bring out the expression "One of these days", which is used to say that something negative will happen sometime - perhaps soon. It is employed in speaking (not in writing) and in a informal context (not in a formal one).

Example:
  • I always park here and I never pay.
  • Be careful. One of these days you're going to have a problem.

We hope you've found this compelling! :-D
