Phrase of the week

Hello again!! This week we have the expression "What did you get up to?", which is used to ask what someone did, especially if we think it was something unusual. It is employed both in speaking and writing, and only in a informal context (not in a formal one).


Example:

• I had the most fantastic weekend.
• Really? What did you get up to?
• I did my first parachute jump, actually. It was brilliant.
